2005 Mardi Gras Pictures

The photos on this page were taken about 10:15 a.m. as the 6th annual Lake Arthur Mardi Gras Run, sponsored by Le Krewe du le Originales et Les Enfants, rolled past a rural intersection. The run includes both a good contingent of horse riders and a long line of Mardi Gras floats and trailers.

After the morning run, the Mardi Gras headed into town for lunch, then resumed the run before taking part in the Lake Arthur Mardi Gras Parade. They ended the day with chicken chasing for children in the park. The Dugas Brothers provided music during the run.
